Origin & Mission

I'm Runy, born and raised in a small village in Xiangxi, China. My deep love for nature and commitment to environmental sustainability has always been a part of me. When the pandemic hit in 2020, I lost my job in Shanghai and found an unexpected opportunity to return to my roots. I started a small shop dedicated to showcasing the unique craftsmanship of our ethnic communities. Through years of perseverance, the shop flourished, leading to the creation of this website—a platform to share our rich cultural heritage with the world.

Community & Harmony

My hometown is a place where diverse cultures converge. Ethnic minorities such as the Miao, Dong, and Tujia have lived here for generations, harmoniously coexisting with nature. They use various natural materials to handcraft practical and beautiful clothing and daily necessities. These crafts not only represent their wisdom and craftsmanship but also embody their reverence for the land. However, despite their rich culture and craftsmanship, many villagers still live in poverty.

Handcraft & Community Support

Our products are handcrafted by traditional Miao artisans from Guizhou and Xiangxi, China. By adhering to fair trade principles, we support these artisans—many of whom are over 55 and facing a lack of successors in their craft. Every purchase you make helps preserve this traditional craftsmanship and supports the economic well-being of these rural communities.
